The T-12 Group contributes to Los Alamos efforts in the area of light-emitting polymers and self-assembled organic monolayers. The main applications are in the areas of flat-pannel displays, organic/semiconductor electronic devices, and chemical and biological sensors. Our group collaborates with experimentalists in other divisions at Los Alamos and other groups in the Theoretical Division. Our efforts have concentrated on electronic structure calculations of organic molecules on semiconductor or metal surfaces.
