Research Activities:
• Electronic structure of transition metal and actinide molecules in the gas phase and in solution.
• Ab initio and semi-empirical studies of the electronic properties of molecularly engineered electronic devices. Specific applications to the modification of the work function by self-assembled monolayers and its relationship to LED device physics, the excited state properties of novel organic assemblies, and the photophysics of conjugated polymers.
